Because I can't take care of it right now, because I don't have the cash flow from being in college to treat that car the way it needs to be treated. As well as the price of gas, I think I'll stick to 32mpg in my accord or 28 in the subaru for now.
:I wasn't haranguing you, merely commenting. If your wife will be unhappy with it, talk to her. Usually you can make someone else look through your eyes. If you don't have the money to pour into your 300zx for *more power* (which sounds to me like you just want to show off) then wait until you can afford it.

thanks Dr. FULL of it. i hvave the money, but would like to go the least expensive route first. this is how you make a savings account by the way. i have done okay for myself over the years, but always feel a little guity when purchasing something for myself. i put the family first. i hope all of this meets your approval.
